New Executive Committee for St. Teresa’s Society

St. Teresa’s Society Amsterdam has installed a new Executive Committee to lead the branch from 2026 to 2029. The installation took place at All Saints Catholic Church, with visiting representatives from the United Kingdom and Germany.

Last quarter of the year as a spiritual celebration and fundraiser.

Parish Announcements

  • This coming Friday, there will be Holy Mass at 18:00, followed by Eucharistic Adoration. All are encouraged to take part.
  • The October Rosary Devotion will begin on Friday, 2nd October. We encourage all parishioners to take part in this special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Rosary may be led by the Altar Servers.
  • This coming Saturday, 3rd October, there will be Youth Mass followed by Eucharistic Adoration at 16:00. All youths and Catechism candidates are expected to be in attendance. We warmly encourage all the youths and children to come and participate fully in this special celebration and time of prayer.
  • Vision Care den Haag will be visiting our community this coming Saturday, 3rd October from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to continue providing eye care and advice to those who have registered with them. All registered members scheduled for this Saturday are kindly encouraged to come on time for their appointments.
  • This coming Sunday, there will be two Holy Masses: First Mass at 11:00 AM and Second Mass at 1:00 PM. As we begin the October Rosary Month, the St. Theresa Society will lead the Rosary next week Sunday after the First Mass. We encourage all parishioners to join in this special devotion and prayer.
  • Lay Readers for next Sunday: 1st Mass: Sister Laura and Sister Blessing. 2nd Mass: Sister Chioma and Sister Joycelyn.
  • This coming Sunday is the 1st Sunday of October, and we shall have our Thanksgiving Collection. All societies are encouraged to come in their uniforms.
  • The Harvest Committee appeals to all Society Leaders to help collect the Harvest Levy from their members. Parishioners who do not belong to any society may pay at the Board Office or directly to any Harvest Committee member or at the harvest desk in the hall.
  • The Catechism class will resume on Saturday, 10th October, at 3:00 PM. All Catechism candidates are reminded to be present and punctual.
  • A parishioner is urgently looking for a one- or two-bedroom apartment. If you have one available or know of any suitable accommodation, kindly contact the Church Secretary.
  • There are Dutch lessons for beginners and for those preparing for their “inburgering” test, every Tuesday from 19:00 to 20:30. Interested parishioners can contact Mr. Remco on 0621979982 for more information.
  • The Emmaus Pilgrimage Group will meet with all pilgrims on Sunday, 4th October, after the Second Mass for important updates and arrangements concerning the upcoming pilgrimage. All pilgrims are kindly entreated to be present.
  • Mama Elizabeth and her family thank all parishioners who came to support her granddaughter’s wedding. Your presence and good wishes made the occasion truly special. They are grateful to everyone who travelled from far and near. God bless you all.

  • Brother Samuel Botchway is thanking God for the successful one-week celebration of his late father, Mr. George Botchway. He continues to pray that the Lord grant his soul eternal rest and comfort and strengthen the family he left behind during this difficult time.
  • Mr. & Mrs. Brew thank God for the gift of their daughter, Kaylyn Love Serwaa Brew, who celebrates her 1st birthday. They pray that God will continue to guide, protect, and bless her, and help her grow in faith and grace.
  • The family of Ugo Madubuogo thank God for their children, Chidiebere and Chioma, as they celebrate their birthdays. They pray for God’s continued blessings, guidance, and protection upon them.
  • Kamsi, Chikaima, and Chisimdi Onyebuchi thank God for the gift of their mother, Christiana Onyebuchi, who celebrated her birthday this week. They pray for God’s continued guidance, protection, and blessings upon her and the entire family.
  • Sister Ozioko Nnaemeka Kenneth thanks God for the gift of life as she celebrates her birthday. She prays for good health, protection, guidance, and God’s favour in all her endeavours.
  • Mama Elizabeth Ehigiene thanks God for the successful marriage of her granddaughter, Susan and Jansen. She prays for God’s continued protection and guidance upon their marriage and asks for journey mercies as they travel back home.
